- You have the right to request a limitation of the processing of your personal data, and to object to the processing that we undertake in order to pursue our legitimate interests.
- You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by registering a complaint with the supervisory authority of your country. Our compliance with this legislation is supervised by The Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Swedish: Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten).
- If the processing of your personal data is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent for any future processing at any time.
- Where our right to process your personal data is based on either your consent or the fulfillment of a contract with you, you have the right to request that we transfer your personal data to another organization that is responsible for processing your personal data (data controller).
We will provide you with reasonable access to your personal data, free of charge, if you send your request to privacy@kontigocare.com. 8. Data storage
All personal data controlled by Kontigo may be stored and processed in your region of residence, in Sweden, or in any other country where Kontigo, its partners or its suppliers operate. We have taken measures to ensure that the data we collect within the scope of this Privacy Policy is processed in accordance with the provisions of this Policy and any applicable legislation where the data is stored. If we decide to transfer your personal data to a third country, i.e. a country outside of the EU/EEA, we will enter into new agreements and take all measures to conform with the applicable legal requirements.
Kontigo stores your personal data as long as it is necessary in order to fulfill the obligations described in paragraph 4. As a result of this, different types of personal data may be stored for different periods of time, based on differing criteria.
Examples of criteria that determine the storage period include:
For how long do we need to store personal data in order to safely provide the service? We need to store this information in order to, among other things, maintain Website functionality, communicate with you, and provide you with the services or products you ordered through the Website.
Is the personal data classified as sensitive? If so, the data is usually stored for a shorter period of time.
Is Kontigo legally, contractually or in any other way obligated to store this data? We might be obligated to store this data due to mandatory legislation on the retention of information, for accountancy reasons, to comply with government orders to retain information relevant to investigations, or to preserve information that must be retained in order to resolve disputes.
