Previct® Care – Digital Support for Addiction Care and Mental Health
With Previct Care, healthcare providers receive an evidence-based digital tool where the client becomes an active participant in their recovery and provides increased support for relatives. The result is a modern treatment model that combines data, technology, and human presence – for a safer and more sustainable treatment.
How it Works
Previct Care consists of two interacting components – Previct Care Portal and Previct App.
Previct Care Portal – support for the healthcare provider
In the Care Portal, healthcare providers manage their clients, monitor their progress, and access test results and self-reported information. The Care Portal provides a clear overview of each client’s treatment, making it easier to adapt support and interventions according to needs.
Previct App – daily support for the client
Previct App is downloaded to the client’s mobile phone and becomes a tool for managing daily life and strengthening personal responsibility in treatment. Here, clients can log their well-being, motivation, and – when needed – their sobriety. The information is automatically shared with the healthcare provider via the Care Portal, creating secure and transparent communication between both parties.

Alcohol and drug testing
Previct Care enables remote monitoring of alcohol and drug sobriety:
- Previct Alcohol
– with the Breathalyzer accessory: a discreet alcohol meter that delivers reliable, high-precision results. - Previct Drugs – an innovative solution that uses the mobile camera to analyze eye movements and provides a real-time indication of drug sobriety.
Both devices are fully integrated with Previct Care. The medical measuring devices Previct Alcohol (Class IIa) with the Breathalyzer accessory (Class I) and Previct Drugs (Class I) are CE-marked in accordance with the EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR 2017/745).

Previct Care is an assistive tool that supports the existing treatment plan and helps both the client and the clinician throughout the entire course of treatment.
Sobriety tests and exercises can be performed anywhere. Clients can continue living normally and perform tests at work, home, or even while traveling.
Support for Mental Health
Previct Care is a digital support tool for treating mental health issues, comorbidity, or as enhanced support within LSS/social psychiatry supported housing. The healthcare provider and client together create a personalized care plan in Previct Care, and the client downloads the Previct App to their mobile phone.

Previct Drugs

Data Security
All data is managed in accordance with GDPR and stored securely according to Kontigo Care’s quality management system.
Access control and encryption are used in all parts of the system to protect client privacy.
Previct Alcohol
Evidence-based and CE marked under MDR (class IIa) with the Breathalyzer accessory (MDR class I). The system is fully integrated into Previct Care, where alcohol test data combined with motivation and well-being indices enable the prediction of relapse risk.
