Our Mission

We strive to be the catalyst for addiction care where early identification, preventive interventions, and continuous support are central. With digital tools, we aim to empower both healthcare providers and individuals to act before addiction worsens—reducing suffering, improving quality of life, and lowering societal costs.

Kontigo Care Has Developed Previct® Care and Previct® Safety

Since its market introduction in 2016, Previct Care has been adopted by just over 60% of Sweden’s 290 municipalities and by regional healthcare, and has partnerships in private addiction care and occupational health. Our latest addition is Previct Safety, a product for workplace testing. It complements traditional methods through digital drug tests, creating increased safety in working life.

Clinical Studies and Patented Digital Biomarkers

Our research has been conducted together with, among others, the university hospital in Leiden, the Netherlands, Uppsala University Hospital, and the University of Skövde, resulting in multiple publications in reputable journals and in patented digital biomarkers. In addition, health economic analyses with clearly positive outcomes have been carried out in several Swedish municipalities.

The Future of Addiction Care—Built for People, Grounded in Science

Person-centered, flexible, and accessible – for a society in transition. We combine research, technology, and clinical experience to create innovative solutions that make a real difference.

Previct Care is developed in close collaboration with healthcare providers and based on data from real patient use. With AI-based algorithms and technology in accordance with MDR, we are a market leader in digital addiction care.

Our Quality Processes and Environmental Responsibility

Kontigo Care operates in accordance with the stringent requirements applicable to medical devices and complies with both MDR and ISO 13485. This means we have certified processes that ensure quality, traceability, and patient safety in everything we do.

As part of our environmental efforts, we also refurbish and reuse our breathalyzers. This means that returned units undergo thorough inspections, servicing, and restoration, as well as replacement of hygiene components before they can be used again. In this way, we combine a high technical standard with a sustainable approach that reduces our environmental impact.
