Digital support for mental health conditions
Previct Care supports the treatment of mental health conditions and comorbidity, and can provide enhanced support within LSS services or social-psychiatric supported housing. The healthcare provider and client work together to create a personalized care plan in Previct Care, and the client downloads the Previct App on their mobile device.

Individual treatment plan for the client
The care provider creates an individual treatment plan to support the client, and via the Previct app the client completes daily tasks and activities, reports on their well-being, feelings, and day in a diary/logbook, and receives the support needed in both everyday challenges and difficult moments.
Inclusive features and digital support
To enhance inclusion, Previct Care offers the option to work with colors, emojis, and simple rating scales. The client can dictate their diary and access short informational videos directly in the app or via external links such as YouTube, among others.
Daily support at home
Previct Care enables care and support to be provided in small daily doses in the home environment and performed by the client themselves, all to achieve the goal of “an independent life of their own”.
The healthcare provider and client work together to create a personalized care plan in the Previct Care Portal. The client downloads the Previct App on their mobile device, which is paired with the care portal.
The tool provides healthcare providers with insights into what happens between visits, without increasing the workload. The healthcare provider can follow their clients day by day in a calendar and over time in graphs.

Co-occurring disorders and addiction
Mental health conditions and addiction are often interconnected, and comorbidity — the presence of two or more disorders at the same time — is relatively common. People with mental health conditions may be more prone to developing substance-use problems, while addiction can in turn worsen mental health.
Psychiatric comorbidity is common among those with harmful substance use or dependence; anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD and personality disorders are frequently observed in this group.
“Previct Care can generate both savings, more accessible care and you can get new effects that you could not see before via the care portal. Most of our patients who have tried Previct have embraced the method, especially those who we ourselves thought might have a harder time with it. Like people who have other complications, such as mental illness and other functional variations. So for them it has become easier, not to have to meet us every time and feedback has become better and to give feedback on how they are feeling, to press a button or use emojis as an answer instead of writing a long story. We get a much better response from the client group, which means that they also get access to this care in a different way. Our staff have been very positive and think that the care portal is a fun way to follow the client's development, it also becomes very visual for the therapist, to follow the case and be involved in real time in what is happening. I don't think you should be afraid to use this digital tool, it doesn't take away the physical contact, you are still a therapist, so it's not like the personal contact is lost.”

Gambling addiction
Previct Care helps the client manage their harmful gambling. The client downloads the Previct App on their mobile device, which is then connected to the healthcare provider’s digital platform, Previct Care Portal. Previct Care provides the client with support and tasks that help combat the urge to gamble on a daily basis. When the client uses the Previct App, information about the client’s habits, triggers, and behavioral patterns is collected. With this information, the healthcare provider can create more individualized and targeted support for the client.
Personalized support and relapse prevention
Through Previct Care, caregivers get to know their clients better, increasing the chances of early detection if a relapse is approaching. Previct Care can be used as enhanced support in the treatment of gambling addiction. Many therapists report that clients gain structure in daily life, establish positive routines and receive timely help when common cognitive traps arise. Previct Care also complements ongoing CBT, MI, ACT or CRA interventions.
Gambling problems as a public health issue
Gambling for money can damage relationships, finances and health. The harm extends beyond the person who gambles — affecting family, friends and society at large. Gambling addiction may also lead to other forms of dependence, such as alcohol or drug problems, since some people seek relief from stress or guilt through additional destructive behaviors. Addictive disorders often share similar underlying causes and patterns.
